Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday urged Speaker Dr S. Madhusudhana Chary to set a new tradition in the House by impeaching or expelling members who made false allegations against anyone.
The CM said this was needed to uphold the sanctity of the House and for maintaining dignity in public life. “Anybody can make allegations but it is their responsibility to prove them. If they cannot prove the same, the members should be impeached and expelled. Every party should support this to uphold the dignity of the House.”
