Asaduddin Owaisi becoming popular in Uttar Pradesh, biggest threat for Samajwadi.

Lucknow:
The growing popularity of Asaduddin Owaisi, president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittihad al-Muslimeen (AIMIM), is certainly changing political equations in Uttar Pradesh. The fact that Owaisi (who is also an MP from Hyderabad) has decided to begin the membership drive for his party from Gorakhpur, has raised eyebrows.

This is because Gorakhpur is the place which has been sending BJP’s Yogi Adityanath to Parliament for the last five terms. Adityanath may not have been there at the recruitment drive, but he – and the BJP – would most certainly have noticed the crowd that turned up for the AIMIM function.

Over 2,000 people came to Gorakhpur’s SP Public School, and some believe the AIMIM will do a better job than the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP), in countering the BJP. Shaukat Ali, UP convener of AIMIM, present at the function, was reluctant to elaborate much on his party’s strategy, but had this to say: “Yogi (Adityanath) has prepared a background for a counter politico-religious ideology in UP. We can do this job effectively.”

The AIMIM is certainly planning to take the fight to the BJP. They have planned to start a membership drive in Fatehpur, the constituency of Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti; Unnao, the constituency of Sakshi Maharaj, BJP MP; and Jaunpur, the political playground of Swami Chinmayanand, the former minister of state for internal affairs. These politicians, along with Yogi Adityanath, are seen as polarising figures. But Owaisi is also in no mood to spare SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav.

The AIMIM president said recently: “Mulayam has been at par with the hate-mongers of the BJP. While the saffron party leaders are playing hate politics to polarise the majority voters, he (Mulayam) leaves no stone unturned to polarise Muslim votes in his favour.” Owaisi knows quite well that cutting Mulayam down to size is necessary to establish himself a a serious contender among the Muslim community in UP.

As a result, Owaisi has also decided to target Azamgarh – the constituency of the SP chief. He has planned to adopt Sanjarpur, which had shot into the limelight when two youths of this village were shot dead by the crime branch in Delhi’s infamous Batla House encounter in 2008.

Owaisi has some bold plans and few are rooting for him to succeed. As Tariq Shafique, a resident of Sanjarpur analyses: “By adopting Sanjarpur, he (Owaisi) can send a message across that he is a sympathiser of the Muslim community. This is how he can try to launch himself against the polarising elements within the BJP and also demolish Mulayam’s Yadav- Muslim combination in the state elections.”

Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi-President All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and MP Hyderabad was present at Bhatkal today at the concluding session of Tanzeem’s centenary celebration. speaking on the occasion Barrister Owaisi said, “This country equally belongs to us like other Indians and In shaa Allah, Islam and Muslims will be in India till the day of Qiyamah.

We don’t fear anyone’s threat and nobody has the right to ask us to leave our nation. The government which is in power now was elected by the vote of the people, but now this government is serving only certain sections of the nation.”

Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi-President All India Majlise Ittehadul Muslimeen and MP of Hyderabad not only expressed his disapproval on the way Muslims are being treated in India but also openly challenged all those in power to mark his words as those of being accurate and responsible. A massive crowd which also included women and children gathered to hear the lion roar at the concluding session leaving the crowd amazed with his bold speech.
He further said that Muslims are the only secular community in this nation. In 15 previous general elections we never voted or supported communal parties and that Muslim vote bank is only an illusion and does not exist in reality and expressed his open appreciation for PM Modi for breaking the myth of Muslim vote bank. There are 13% Muslims in this country, but the Muslims representation in Parliament is only 4%.”
He said, “I have came here because, Bhatkal is an exclusive part of India. This is my second visit to Bhatkal and this will not be the last" 
He further questioned those people talking about Ghar Wapisi as to where is the 15,00,000 rupees? saying, “Those people who are talking about Ghar wapisi, they have to answer the people to whom they had said during election campaigning about 15 Lakh rupees. Where are those 15 lakh rupees?”
He further said, “Hazrat Adam (A.S), first man on planet landed first in India and that this land belong to our father Hazrat Adam. We are proud to be Indians. We request our constitution, which is the sacred book of every Indian"

Touching various issues from acute water shortage and water problem which is being faced by Muslims the most all over India to the fight for right of education and scholarship by Muslim youth who dream of making it big, all this and many more issues central to Muslims were talked about and covered in a short span by Asaduddin Owaisi in a speech that left the audience wanting for more from their man whom they call Lion very fondly. 
He asked Bhatkally youths to take active part in politics, so that they become one who will lead the community in future. He also condemned the brutality of ISIS.
Tanzeem’s Centenary Celebration was concluded on the Dua of Moulana Abdul Bari Nadwi-Principle Jamia Islamiya while the concluding session began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Hammad Pillor.

Asaduddin Owaisi: ‘Country needs focus on ‘paisa wapsi’ not ‘ghar wapsi’

Hitting out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promises of bringing black money ahead of the April-May 2014 Lok Sabha polls, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi has said the country needs ‘Paisa Wapsi’ rather than the ‘Ghar Wapsi’, the alleged disguise of religious conversion by Hindutva outfits.
At a time when Hindutva outfits in the country are spending much of their energy on the religious conversion under the disguise of ‘Ghar Wapsi’, Owaisi, the All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP on Saturday said, “The country needs to focus much on ‘Paisa Wapsi’ – black money stashed in foreign banks. The country needs more focus on it as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured during Parliamentary election campaign.”
“To get back on the growth track, the country will need USD 100 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). If the PM fails to keep a check on things such as ‘ghar wapsi’, the FDI will take a direct hit and cause hindrance in country’s growth,” he said.
Couples of weeks before the opposition parties in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were demanding a statement from Modi on the issue of religious conversion and were also staging protest, Owaisi too had strongly condemned the Central government’s silence on the much debated issue.
During the Lok Sabha debate, Owaisi had said, “During campaigning when one of the TV channels asked him (Modi) a question about his religion, he had said ‘Country First’. On a question about religious book, he had said ‘Constitution of India’. Then why has he changed his stand after becoming PM.”
“Why is he silent on this grave issue”, the AIMIM leader questioned.

VHP plans ‘ghar wapsi’ for 40 Gaya families today.

Patna:
The Gaya wing of VHP has planned “ghar wapsi” for the 40 Manjhi families, whose conversion to Christianity came to light this Christmas, on Monday. Local BJP MP Hari Manjhi, who had visited Atiya village on Friday, would likely attend the event, even as the party asserted that it has nothing to do with the VHP’s plan.
Local VHP leader Mani Barik, who visited the village again on Saturday to persuade the converted Dalits for “ghar wapsi”, told The Indian Express: “We have already held discussions with villagers and most of them are willing for purification function to become Hindus again. Though we are not forcing anyone to reconvert, we are facing resistance from the Gaya administration.”
“We have been working with the villagers to know what had gone wrong and what they expected from the government. Manjhi families are simple, plain-hearted and gullible. The families were misguided by the Christian missionaries,” he said.
Gaya DM, who had been asked by Bihar Chief Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi to file a report on the conversions, reportedly submitted that no Manjhi family was forcibly converted.
Most of the 40 Atiya families, who converted between 2007 and 2010, however, had told The Indian Express team that a Christian missionary had opened a school at the village, carried out deaddiction programmes and provided healthcare, thus wooing them.
Despite its MP’s active participation in persuading the villagers, BJP’s state unit maintained that it has no connection with the Monday event. Its legislature party leader Sushil Kumar Modi, however, told The Indian Express that there was “nothing wrong with reconversion without inducements”.
“We have been against both forced conversion and reconversion. Though we have nothing to do with the Gaya matter, there is nothing wrong with reconversions without inducements and allurements.”
He said the last three cases of conversion in Bihar showed that Dalits were being lured by Christians with “slow and long-term education and health benefits.” “It also shows the Bihar government has failed to provide benefits to Dalits,” he added.

Prophet’s birthday (Milad Un Nabi SAWS) to be a paid holiday in the UAE.

The Prophet’s birthday will be celebrated on Saturday and will be a paid holiday.

The Minister of Labour, Saqr Ghobash, said January 3 will be a paid holiday for all those in the private sector in celebration of the Prophet’s birthday – Mowled Al Nabawi. It had been previously announced that Thursday is to be a paid holiday in celebration of New Year’s day.

The public sector has been given the same holidays, according to Hussain Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and chairman of the Federal Authority for Human Resources, reported the state news agency, Wam.

Mr Al Hammadi and Mr Ghobash have sent their warm regards to President Sheikh Khalifa, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and members of the Supreme Council and rulers of the seven emirates on the occasion.

They have also passed good wishes to the Government and the people of the UAE on this occasion.

VHP in Kerala to continue 'ghar vapsi' programme

Announcing plans to continue with their 'ghar vapsi' programme in Kerala, Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Saturday asserted that no forcible conversions were taking place here and said it would help those who wanted to embrace Hinduism.

A batch of people would reconvert to Hinduism at a function to be held here on January 1, VHP state general secretary Bhargava Ram told reporters here. 
He said 'home coming' was not a new happening and it became a controversy only after Congress and Left parties tried to derive political mileage over the issue in the recent assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. 
He alleged that most of the conversions from Hinduism to other religions took place due to appeasement. The conversion issue has been in the limelight in Kerala since past one week after some members of a particular community reconverted to Hinduism as part of the 'ghar vapsi' (home coming) programme of the VHP.#Must #Watch & #Keep #Sharing..

India Asks Pakistan to Hand Over Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim

NEW DELHI:
India today asked Pakistan to hand over underworld don Dawood Ibrahim saying enough evidence have been given to it on the prime accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts.
Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said India's stand has been very clear for a long time that Dawood has been living in Karachi in Pakistan.
"We have been asking to hand over him to India for a long time. Already many evidence have been given to Pakistan. Pakistan should now act and hand him over to us," he told reporters in New Delhi.
Mr Rijiju said Pakistan should cooperate with India in the fight against terrorism if it is serious. "We want it to act on evidence," he said.
In Lucknow, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said Dawood is India's most wanted terrorist and India has repeatedly asked Pakistan to hand him over to it.
"Wait and watch," Mr Singh said without elaborating, as to when
asked when India can get hold on him.
The comments came amidst reports which suggested that Dawood is running his business empire with impunity and the billions he makes are being spent in terror operations around the globe.
"Dawood has been tracked in Karachi, alive and kicking, and is heard expanding his real estate business," web-portal NewsMobile said based on tapes received from western diplomatic sources.
"This clearly proves that the underworld don is blatantly running his terror supermarket from Pakistan and his real estate interests are helping him generate enough funds to expand his operations," saidNewsMobile editor-in-chief Saurabh Shukla.
The Home Minister last month had said Pakistan was providing shelter to Dawood and the underworld don was staying along the Pak-Afghan border.
India's most wanted terrorist, Dawood is the mastermind of the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai that claimed around 300 lives.
When asked about the news reports, Mr Rijiju said the government will examine the fresh evidence that have come.
