Protests mark Black Day.

ADILABAD:
The Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) on Saturday observed black day in connection with the demolition of Babri Masjid.
A rally was taken out by MIM workers from party office in Bokkalguda to the Collectorate where a memorandum of demands was submitted.
The demands included arrest of those responsible for demolishing of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.

Sangareddy Staff Reporter adds: Members of Muslim minority held a protest rally from Nalsabgadda in the town to Collector camp office.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to Collector Rahul Bojja. Minority leaders Nizamuddin, Khaja, Hakeem and others have participated in the programme.
As a precautionary measure police made elaborate security arrangements in this regard.
Deserted look
Nizamabad Special Correspondent adds: Muslim minority areas including Bodhan road wore a deserted look following the observance of Black Day. All shops and establishments remained closed due to the bandh. Minorities took out a motorcycle rally which proceeded through the main thoroughfares before reaching the Collectorate where they handed over a memorandum to the Collector D. Ronald Ross. The Congress minority wing activists submitted a separate memorandum.
